My name is Matthew and I am originally from York, PA. Although I may appear to
be your typical "jock", I actually do attempt to be rather studious at times. I
played football, wrestled and ran track in high school. Despite the importance
of sports and all of my success, I chose to join the Army after high school.
Before I knew it, I was an Army Ranger jumping out of perfectly good aircraft
behind enemy lines. After my last deployment, I committed to utilizing my G.I.
Bill on college and playing football again. After receipt of an Honorable
Discharge, I immediately contacted Penn State and worked out the deal!
I
plan to major in Business Management here at PSU. I live by the law of "student
first, athlete second". Without the good grades, you cannot enjoy doing what
you love, at the school you love! (Write that down.)
